Why we say, “Creator Yahweh”

Yahweh is the English spelling of the Hebrew name for the Creator, but it has also been in our Native languages for longer than anyone can number. We believe that we are coming into our true identity as Native Americans who follow Yeshua and walk the Jesus Way. Much of what “Christian” people did (especially in the past) had nothing at all to do with Christ. We are finding that the Bible (Sacred Writings) speaks more clearly to us Natives than to many others. Creator, the Great Spirit, Yah…are none other than Creator of the Sacred Writings (the Bible). We understand the protocol. We understand the dance. We understand the drums. We understand the blessings and honoring, and much better than others because of our culture.

  1. I am Native American, and have been a christain all my life, and I do not like you last few statements. Creator made His word mostly focused towards His chosen people, the Jewish Nation.
It is for all people who have the Spirit of Truth guiding them., Anyone who communes with the Spirit seeking a love relationship with Jesus, saved born again, walking in honor, righteousness, holiness, truth.etc &.. Fruits of the Spirit are the people who will understand His ways. There is much more to following Creator Daddy ..than His written word. His daily word spoken into our lives is what puts us into close communion and our destiny in Him. Walking in His gifts and living and blessing others.

Thank you for sharing Diana! We appreciate you. Actually, we agree with what you said. We did not mean to slight any other culture in saying that the Sacred Writings speak more clearly to us than many cultures; we were simply addressing those who say the Bible is a white man’s book. It certainly is not limited to any culture. We love the Word. And we love Jesus Yeshua! Pleya gi!
